Middle School students learn in an environment that is both nurturing and rigorous:
Our Grade 5 program emphasizes collaborative, creative, and “hands on” learning. Through fieldwork and experiential learning opportunities, students become physically engaged with course content in a way that supports a variety of learning styles and builds relationships among peers.
Students experience the nurture and care they need for their age, including additional time for free movement and play.
Once a month, Grade 6 students gather for a half day of collaborative learning. Hands-on STEAM challenges inspire students as problem-solvers while developing their skillset in the 4Cs – communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical-thinking.
Grade 7 students continue to grow their problem-solving and design skills by developing “passion projects”. Students choose a topic that sparks their curiosity, then take a deep dive into learning more as they are coached by their teachers in applying critical thinking and research methods to their area of interest.
