Welcome to Grade 12 Biology! This course is designed to provide a solid knowledge base for those students planning to pursue further studies in the biological sciences and related fields after leaving high school. The course should enable you to not only gain insights into current issues in biology, but should also help you to develop an understanding and appreciation of the relevance of biology as an integral part of our everyday lives.Discussions, lectures, labs, readings, exercises, and research projects will enable you to gain an understanding of specific areas of study, namely: Genetics, Evolutionary Processes, and Biodiversity.
