Dear students and parents,

Welcome to my website.  I will try to keep it up to date with major due dates.  Students are to consistently write down the assignments and due dates from my whiteboard into their agenda, on that day's date, at the beginning of every class.   Parents can encourage their children to show them their agenda if they want to be kept up-to-date with the students' workload.  Students are to enter my class and have that page open on their desk right away since I check that page near the beginning of every class.  I keep track of this, and it affects their participation mark on their report card.  If students loose their agenda, they can buy another copy from the middle school office.

This year the presidents of the student council have selected some great verses to live by.  1 Corinthians 16:13-14: "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love."   I hope these verses will remind us to be careful with the choices that we make.  The attitudes, words and actions that we choose should encourage and not exclude or belittle others.  I would like us all take these verses to heart as we develop healthy relationships, respecting our differences, and making everyone feel like they are a valuable creation of God.   Our Lord can help us to have the courage and strength  to say and do what is right with a loving attitude.
