Mrs. Mason and Mrs. McGinnis invite all students to visit the library to pick out a movie, get help with choosing the right book, do research, or simply to say hi. Sign onto the Library Wiki to ask for help with research, to discuss books, or find ideas on what to read next. Library Hours: 8:00 - 4:30

Loan Period: Four week loan period. Items may be renewed twice and only if no one has requested the item.

Fines Policy: A $2.00 fine per item will be charged for materials four weeks overdue. Fee increases by $2.00 per month per item.

Holds: May be placed on materials by notifying library staff.

Internet Policy: MBCI has an Acceptable Use Policy which applies to all school computers. The AUP is detailed in the student agenda book. Computers are for educational purposes only. Downloading of games or software is not permitted. Non-educational uses and emailing can result in loss of privileges. Students are required to read the AUP in the agenda book and agree to use the computers following the guidelines outlined before entering the Internet.

Photocopying: No charge except for colour which is 25 cents a copy.Copyright laws apply to all student photocopying.

MBCI's Library has a wide array of print and non-print resources available. In addition, Internet connections allow students to access information on the World Wide Web. Students can research any topic assigned by teachers using school databases such as Proquest or World Book Online.
